Intensive systolic blood pressure control reduces CVD mortality risk in the over 80s

medwireNews: Antihypertensive treatment of patients over the age of 80 years to a target systolic blood pressure below 130 mmHg could significantly reduce their risk of death from cardiovascular disease by 26%, suggests an analysis of NHANES data.
